"I received a HND (distinction) in forestry and was trained as a carpenter in East Sussex and I have been a timber framer for over 15 years. I have also trained with Mike Abbot, a specialist greenwood worker and author of books on this subject. This prior experience has given me a thorough understanding of timber and its properties as well as an appreciation of the traditional knowledge and craft employed in green woodworking and the construction of timber frames."
Green Oak Cornwall works with clients, architects and designers to create beautiful timeless structures.
We specialise in Oak frames but also make structures in Chestnut and Larch. Our emphasis is on indigenous timbers that have a natural durability and beauty without the need for chemical treatment.
